Advance Directives
Under the law you have the right to make your own decisions on your finances, day to day life, and your healthcare. This program defines advance directives, explains why they are necessary, and how to put your personal directives in place. Originally broadcast on the heels of the Terri Schiavo “right to die” case in 2005, the broadcast discusses why everyone should have these directives in place to avoid the heartache the families experienced when they tried to determine what Ms. Schiavo would have wanted for her own care.
